Official gig poster for their german shows in November 2023.

I saw SUPERCHUNK for the first time on their tour for "on the mouth" in 1993. I still love this record. Now 30 years later Mac McCaughan himself asked me, if I'm interested in doing a poster for the anniversary shows in Germany. Well, thanks :)

So many ideas that I wanted to be in the poster: a reference to the original album artwork, especially the crayon look, a new twist with the reknown band typing, one song from the album ("package thief"). And last but not least, I thought it's nice to get Mac's dog Birdie in as well. Now you know.
