The image of "HOT WAX" I originally created for my 2016th RECORD STORE DAY poster. The illustration is scratched into a black surface cardboard and the scanned and transferred on screenprinting film.

The main idea was a factory producing vinyls. A conveyor is transporting the fresh produced records to the outside and then actually one person is grabbing them.
But then I added another guy and another one and a fourth.
And I scratched the background and out of the blue it looked like four guys over a cross-walk. Well, maybe there was a factory at the end of Abbey Road - who knows?
